RODDY MATHERNE, OWNER/GENERAL MANAGER
Mr. Matherne brings 30 years of waste collection experience to Pelican Waste & Debris, LLC. Mr Matherne was employed by SWDI, LLC from 1983 – 2010. Mr. Matherne started at SWDI, LLC as a hopper on a residential garbage truck and worked his way to General Manager through hard work and dedication to his job. Mr. Matherne is a member of the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce, Lafourche Chamber, and has recently applied to the South Central Industrial Association.
CHRISTIAN LAPEYRE, OWNER
Mr. Lapeyre is new to the waste industry. Mr. Lapeyre has been in employee benefits since 1996. He has earned the professional designation of Registered Health Underwriter from the American College. Mr. Lapeyre is a member of the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce, South Central Industrial Association, Bayou Industrial Group, Lafourche Chamber, Houma Rotary Club, Nicholls State University Foundation and Board of Directors of the local chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association.
COREY CALLAIS, OWNER
Mr. Callais brings 30 years of waste collection experience to Pelican Waste & Debris, LLC. Mr. Callais was employed by SWDI, LLC from 1978 – 2010. He is also a former owner of SWDI, LLC from 1978 to 2010. He is also a former owner of Abdon Calais in Golden Meadow. Mr. Callais is a member of the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce, Lafourche Chamber, and serves as Chairman of United Community Bank.
